Don't Call Yourself a Christian If...

Don't call yourself a Christian if....

...you won't and don't go to church.
...you do go once a week and won't make an attempt to go more.
...you dress up Sunday, go to church, then act like the world once you leave.
...you praise the Lord, then a few minutes later curse and blaspheme His Holy Name.

...you go to church yet won't support the local Pastor and his family, yet you support other worldly things such as the liquor store and bars that sell it.

...you believe tithing is a thing of the past.

...you refuse to believe that God has an inspired Bible, the KJB.
...you read other versions and think that will make you spiritual.
...you don't know what the word Christian means.

...you say you are saved and one, yet show no outward proof of it a year or so later.

...you actually are one, yet hang around the ungodly and wicked people of the world.
...you are not one, just because others may be, does not mean you are one.
...you continue to smoke and drink.

...you don't live according to God's commandments.
...you think by doing good works you will go to heaven and get rewards.
...you do absolutely nothing for the cause of Christ.
...you have a problem with me being one (a true christian).
...you do not go or will not go witnessing.
...you don't act like one, live like one, talk like one, walk like one, dress like one.

...you continue to dress like a freak and wear clothes unbecoming to your person.
...you dress like a whore and try to be appealing to men.

By the way...

Are you saved? Can you really prove it?

Those are question we often hear from Christians who may either want to know if we really are saved for our own sakes (otherwise we thought we go to heaven already, but aren't) or may have other reasons otherwise, other than really good ones. If ever, check yourself whether you have these or don't. If you have, then you're saved! Praise the Lord! But if you don't, we think you need somebody who can lead you to prayer of salvation (otherwise you go to hell!!!). It's not a joke. We are very serious.

Here it is:

How do we know we are saved (explanation to those who question our faith)?

1) For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Ephesians 2:8-9

2) These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

1 John 5:13

3) My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me: And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any [man] pluck them out of my hand.

John 10:27-28

4) In whom ye also [trusted], after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise, which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

Ephesians 1: 13-14

Now, if you aren't saved yet, why don't you read this:

1) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans 3: 23

2) God forbid: for then how shall God judge the world?

Romans 3:6

3) For the wages of sin [is] death; but the gift of God [is] eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 6:23

4) But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 5:8

5. Then if you understand that you need salvation, let us pray this prayer:

Lord Jesus, forgive me for being a sinner and for all the sins that I have committed. Starting now, I put my trust in You. I receive You as my personal Lord and Savior. Enter my heart and save me. Amen.

7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.

10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth.

Prayer of Salvation

Luke 15:7, 10

6. (as additional)

But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Revelation 21:8

Please note that:

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:16

The Difference Between A Sissy And A Prissy

Sissy is a man who has long hair. 1 Cor.11:14

Prissy is a woman who has short hair. 1 Cor.11:15

Sissy is the man who rebels against what the Bible says about men having short hair, and not long.

Prissy is the woman who rebels against what the Bible says about women having long hair, and not short.

Sissy is the man behind the pulpit who never preaches, but licks up the fond words of the congregation to swell himself full of pride and to make him look good to himself and others. Prov.16:5

Prissy is for the woman to shave her head when she has no life threatening disease, that otherwise she would have to I.E. cancer.

Sissy is the man who calls himself a Christian, yet his hair looks like a mop and he refuses to do anything about it, he is a rebel of the devil and a sin to God.

Prissy is the woman who refuses to hear and believe what the Bible says about her, her attitude, her worldly ways, how she dresses, her hair, her liberal attitude, and her behavior around others. Check out Proverbs 31. A real woman is described in that chapter, and it is not the chapter for the foolish and contentious woman nor does it describe a worldly carnal lady, but a Christian woman. Read it and weep. Read also Prov. 9:13.

Sissy is the man whose hindsight is as blind as his foresight as he allows his wolf (wife) to dictate to him how their home should be run, instead of standing up; and living and being the Godly example to his wife that he needs to be. Eph. 5:22, 23

Prissy is the woman who thinks she knows it all and seduces men to get her own way. Look up Proverbs 9:13, ladies and get verrrrrry angry. Amen!

Sissy is the man who is full of pride and thinks he is a good and gracious man whom all adores and likes. Think again hypocrite. Check out Proverbs 13:10,16:5

Prissy is the woman who plays the harlot and at the same time thinks she is sweet and innocent of all wrongdoing. Read Prov. 7

Sissy is the man who claims to be Godly, his ways are the ways of self-righteousness, his thoughts are of good, and his tongue is pure. Check out Proverbs 16:27, wicked one.

Prissy is the woman whose heart is full of desire and wickedness as she plays on the emotions of men that destroys them.

Sissy is the man who speaks boastful and prideful things about others in front of them, then talks unkindly of them behind their backs later. Read this, Mr. Perfect. Proverbs 10:18

Prissy is the woman and Sissy is the man who is full of noise, acts foolish, can't keep quiet and who loves speaking all his or her mind, won't take long for that, will it minute or so? Read Proverbs 29:11. This scripture applies to both men and women.

Sissy is the man whose mouth is full of fire, blasphemy and cursing; and that doing that makes him a big man and important to himself. Your mouth is vile, malicious, evil, and abomination to the Lord. Read Exodus 20:7, Ps. 34:13, James 3:8. Same to you women, too.

Prissy is the woman who thinks she is called by God to preach. Really? Check this out, you liberated liberal. 1 Cor. 14:34, 35; 1 Tim. 2:11-15, and don't take these verses out of context which most do.

Sissy is the man who calls Jesus a liar saying he drank alcoholic wine, so you justify your own damnable drinking by taking out of context the verses that God condemns drinking? Fool. Read this. Prov. 20:1, 23:29-35, 31:4-7, Hab. 2:5, 15, 16.

Prissy is the woman who thinks the same above and never learns because she is too gullible to find these things out for herself, so she listens to some man or so-called minister who knows nothing. Read the verses above ladies. If you don't believe or get mad, that tells us all you have a liberal attitude and are probably a liberal Christian also, as you reject and deny what the Bible teaches on and preaches against such things. No one calls Jesus or God a liar and gets away with it. Rom. 3:4, Heb. 9:27

What We Really Need Is An Earth-shattering Holy Ghost Awakening

..... all across our country and a wakeup call to every dead minister behind the pulpit.

..... to shake the foundations of every spiritually dead church.

..... to bring alive the weak-kneed, backboneless so called man of God who does nothing for the glory of God, get him out of his heathen pride, and make him get busy for the Lord to win souls for Christ.

..... slap the backslidden Christian to reality and bring him/her back to Jesus' arms.

..... for the Holy Spirit to convict all those prideful and black hearts, break their wickedness and open themselves up so that the glory of the Lord can shine in.

..... for the Christians to get right with God for the last time and live for Him till their death or till the Lord comes back in all His glory.

..... and offend everyone with the preaching of God's Word to humble them to their dirty knees and cry out, "Have mercy on me, dear Lord" with tears of repentance, then tears of joy as they accept Christ as their personal Saviour, whooooooooo.

..... to shatter and break the hearts of the rebellious reprobates, the hypocritical heathens and self-righteous mockers of God so that they may be convicted and saved to be with our Lord in heaven forever.

..... to make the new Christians know they are someone special to the Lord and realize they can be used mightily by the Lord if they are not and will not be swayed by the personal opinions of others when it comes to the WORD of God, His precious King James Bible.

..... to bring revival back here, to have God step down from heaven and put His hand and fire in each of us to serve Him more than what we do.

..... to keep us from mocking God by the other heathens’ perverted ungodly versions that are being used for the glory of man.

The More......

The more you love God each day......

The more you show obedience and surrender to God each day......

The more you seek His face on all matters each day......

The more you say with a truly humble, honest and contrite heart each day: "I love You Lord"......

The more you revere and honor Him each day......

The more you allow Him to give you humility each day......

The more you allow God to work in you and through you each day......

The more fire and desire you have in your heart for the Lord each day......

The more you thank God for ALL OF HIS BLESSINGS AND MERCIES that He gives you each day......

The more passion you have to follow Him and to be more like Him each day......

The more you pray to Him each day......

The more you read His HOLY WORD, the KJB, each day......

the more God will answer your prayers,

the more God will speak to you through His Word,
the more grace and mercy God will give to you each day,
and the more God will nurture you with His never-ending love.

Two Of A Kind

Yes, we are! Two of a kind.
Sweet loving couple and friends.
Through thick and thin we can survive,
We
really are two of a kind.

In God We Trust ... Amen!

Amidst uncertainties in life, we trust the living God;
Who knows just what's in for us, our destiny He molds.
His plans are certain, oh my friend, though we may never know;
But they are all for good, dear one, that's what I promise you.

If people hate us without cause, yes, them we should ignore.
When all around may seem to fail, we trust God more and more.
There's one sure thing that we can do and that's to let them go,
Then peace will reign deep in our hearts, the peace of God so true.

Our lives, for sure, we can rely: His peace and loving care;
And nothing bits the promised hope of heaven's surest lair,
If we would surely trust in Him, our lives to Him we pledge,
For certainty, we are God's own, our enemies would flee.

Ain't it good to trust in God always?
We hope we can do that...

These Songs He Loved

Mike and I were chatting on the internet one day when I brought up to his attention the need for classic gospel songs to download on The MikenLuisa Minstrel blog. I really found it hard to identify the songs in the Favorite Baptist Hymnal I borrowed from my pastor, because there were more than two hundred of them! Since I am a new Baptist, I do not know the tune of the songs although most of them had been sung through the years by people yonder.

Mike is the kind of person who wouldn't boast about singing as he thinks he has a low voice (well, a good base voice really), but he knows how to play the harmonica (I let him play often via webphone, hehe). Definitely, he loves music as I do. We almost love the same things and music is one of them.

"Mike, could you e-mail me some lists of your favorite gospel songs?" I asked. He agreed with a grin. "I can give you the titles now", he said. Before I knew it, he was pouring on me titles of songs. He gave me 14 of them! Whew, all I did was copy and put them in the computer's My Document folder and thanked him. That is how excited he is every time you ask him something that interests him. That's my love, Mike.

Titles like Amazing Grace, He Hideth My Soul, My Jesus I love Thee,... were all beautiful songs I heard on YouTube later that day. I wished to download them at once. Unfortunately, the internet had low signal. I had to wait for another time. As of this writing, I have not finished the job yet. You see, not only would I download the individual song, but I would also include an accompanying lyrics. It is something that Mike and I have committed to offer our viewers as we give glory to the Almighty.

Yes, the songs may probably be old and sang by your grampies and grannies. They may not even appeal to you, younger generation. But, friends, if you truly care to listen to them, understand the words by their meanings, then you would hear songs that would really speak to your hearts and souls.

We know because we also listen.

Some Food for Thought

A story...

A little boy goes to his best friend's house to play with him. Reaching it, he hears a distant noise like a slap or something similar. He quickens his step. The noise stops, he stops walking, too. After a few moments, he hears the slapping sound again. He walks towards it as it gets louder. The little boy is now scared and trembling not knowing what he will see.

Then the boy hears a slight moan, and then a louder slapping. The sound he hears is that of a strap, a stick, or a......... whip! Now he is really scared and trembling more. The noise loudens as he gets closer.

The little boy is calling his friend's name loudly. He then hears an answer, "In here!” A little voice hollers out; so the little friend, who was searching, has now found his friend. He comes to a small out-building in a field, glazed with bright green grass, and surrounded by a small hedge of light-green hemlock trees.

With the door slightly open in the dusty building, chair in one corner, broken table on the opposite with some tools on it, hammers, nails, ruler, and old steel shovel; the little boy peeks in and is shocked to see his little friend hitting his Daddy across his back with a small black, knotted, dusty handmade whip.

Young boy that he is, he cries out loud, "Stop!" His little friend says to the Dad's son, "Why did you do that? You're bad and very awful. What did he do?” The little boy, in tears, says to his young friend, "I've one more to go, save one." So, he whips his Dad for the final and last time.

The Dad turns his head towards the small lad who befriended his son. His son does not know what to say, so the Dad answered the lad, "He did some bad things and instead of spanking him, my love for him is so strong that, this time, I am taking his punishment for him. Yes, he deserves it, but I deserve it more, so that he will see and know that he needs more respect for me and love me more. When he is grown up he will remember when this happened. It will make him a stronger person and he will be a better man because of this experience."

The young boy is somewhat confused. His little mind is put to rest as something is revealed to him, and put in him a little wisdom that he so desperately needed. He knows what was done is done for a reason. The little boy understands.

Then the two little friends, crying, go their merry, lively way to play. The Dad, meanwhile, is praising the Lord God Almighty till he meet his timely death.

You see, the Dad was a born again Biblical Christian and he knew about the cross, the shed blood of Christ, and the death, burial, resurrection. He knew because he did the same to his own Dad; and his Dad to his Dad.

Out of a pure love and total commitment to their sons, Christ did also for us. He shed His blood for us that we may live. He, who knew no sin, took our sins on Him, so we may live, as He died on the cross at Calvary.

"...the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sins." 1 John 1:7

"If we confess our sins he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from all unrighteousness." 1 John 1:9

True Family Bonding

A family that prays (and reads
the BIBLE together) stays together.

Good Little Old Book

There's one little book I just took for granted,
T'was left on a shelf, all dust and neglected.
Nothing of value, I thought it was so;
Life's more important, that I did know.

Took me a merry, myself I was proud.
Wasn't life happy, I felt so secured,
Then out of the blue, this wanting reside
Dug deeper inside, my soul cannot hide.

Then now I remember that one little book

All covered with dust, tossed in a nook;
With one heart's desire I grab it so fast
Wanting to know what is hidden at last.

It tells me great things of heaven above,
How Jesus does save, He sure is a God.
I know that by now, this book is for me,
No better to read, this sure I can see.

SHAKE, RATTLE and ROLL

Shake, rattle and roll...
But not to Elvis' song.

SHAKE the minister up behind the dead
pulpit by the Almighty God...

RATTLE him with the conviction of the
Holy Spirit to get busy for God,

and if he doesn't...

ROLL him out from behind the pulpit and
kick him out the door.
